Cybersecurity – Risk, Management and Governance in the Age of AI
Workshop Overview
This course aims to facilitate an understanding of both the continuous evolution of AI as well as the cybersecurity landscape which affects business growth and continuity. In addition, the course will instruct on and provide actionable guidance and best practices for companies to adopt and grow.
With AI adoption increasing on a daily basis, there is now a clear and pressing need for businesses to rethink their approach to securing their company’s security systems. Our objective is to equip the delegates with the knowledge and applicatory skills to protect themselves when adopting/implementing AI solutions. It is not surprising that security is often overlooked by small businesses, either because of a lack of knowledge on how to do so or because of a lack of awareness of the need to do so until the unforeseen/inevitable occurs.
AI is transforming cybersecurity into a dynamic, adaptive battlefield. While it enhances threat detection and response, it simultaneously introduces new risks and management complexities. Effective cybersecurity in the AI era requires a balance of technology, governance, skilled personnel, and ethical oversight. Organizations that. treat AI as a risk-managed capability rather than a silver bullet will be best positioned to defend against evolving threats.
To enhance the learner experience, there will be simulated AI-driven attack scenarios in tabletop exercises. Participants may expect many thought provoking and team building scenarios/exercises through which their applicatory skills will be aharpened after the course.
