Workshop Overview
The human element is one of the root causes of many incidents and illnesses with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) outcomes or potential implications globally, be it work or off-the work. An individual who is not well groomed and trained in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) can initiate incidents by their actions that result not only in serious human injuries but also multiple fatalities resulting from major incidents. In the region of 95% of industrial accidents and occur to an unsafe work culture. In some cases, accidents can occur due to inappropriate actions of workers. Hence behavioral safety has been given increasing importance
in workplace environments and by administering BBS into the safety management, companies have seen drastic reduction of workplace incidents and losses while improving the performances of workers.
